STOP SOPA

The English Wikipedia page is currently in blackout mode. So is boingboing. Reddit's blackout starts in less than 8 hours. Even google is making their stance clear.

I am very much against SOPA, and I'm blacking out my avatars in all my online spaces to show that I support the companies that are standing up to the government's attempts at censoring the internet.

If you want to help, there are things you can do. First off, learn what you can about it. There are many resources out there. Second, raise your voice and be heard!

Craigslist is also doing a blackout and has provided links for contacting members of Congress and other ways to be heard.

A VERY informative site that details what SOPA and PIPA are, who's backing SOPA and who is opposing it. It even shows the money trail so you know who's helping fund SOPA and help to destroy the internet as we know it.

If you feel strongly about SOPA and about your rights online, do what you can. Every little bit helps. Sign petitions, send letters to Congress.
